The building and rooms were very pleasant. the rooms had a very nice big shower. It was nice that an iron, work desk, and television were provided. the location was convenient and excellent, right by the city center, surrounding restaurants, and Le National from the train station.

It's a simple and fairly clean hotel, rooms are clean. The venue staff is very kind and pleasant. Marvellous setting, it's near to train station and surrounding restaurants as well as a night club. 1 km away there is O'tacos, serving quick meals.

Attending a conference in Firminy, I stayed at Hotel Le National for a few days. Renata, the owner, was incredibly helpful in providing guidance on local attractions and transportation. The room was spacious, clean, and had a modern shower. The breakfast was delicious and there was real coffee available for just 1 euro. The hotel's location near the railway station and walking distance from the city center was convenient.

Our stay at the hotel was really pleasant and friendly. The new owner and his wife gave us a warm welcome, and the former owner, whom we remembered from a previous visit, was still there to greet guests. The rooms were simple but comfortable, and the location just a few minutes walk from St Etienne Chateaucreux station was very convenient. The wifi worked perfectly, and the hotel was clean and well-maintained. we had a great experience and would definitely stay at Le National again if we return to St. Etienne.

The hotel lacked some amenities, like a lift, and the picture shown on the website was not of the actual hotel. We had a bit of trouble finding the entrance and had to walk around with our luggage for a while.
